I had the wonderful privilege of growing up in a Christian home with Godly parents who sacrificed a great deal to sent me to a Christian school. It was at the age of 5, while listening to a Bible lesson at school, that I came to realize that I was born a sinner and needed to ask the Lord to forgive my sins and accept Him into my life as my personal Lord and Savior. At the age of 11, I followed the Lord in believer’s baptism. When I was 16 years old, I became very ill and realized that I did not have control, but God did. I knew that the Lord was leading me into nursing, so I started out taking nursing classes, but the Lord lead me to go to Piedmont Bible College for a couple years as well. I transferred from there to William Carey College where I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2006. I have worked for the last 8 years in many areas of nursing. My favorite area is with women and children. In 2008, I accepted the call to full-time missions at a mission’s conference at Bible Baptist Church in Yuma, Arizona. Since then, the Lord has brought me through many physical and spiritual trials. In August, 2013, I had the wonderful privilege of setting off to Knysna, South Africa to help out the Garden Route Team. While there, I knew that this is where the Lord was calling me to full-time. Now, I have set out on the great adventure and look forward to what the Lord has in store.
